Top 10 Reasons Why A Dishwasher Should Be Your Best Friend

We all have one. Most of us might call it a nuisance, but I can promise you if we didn’t have one we would be missing out on a whole lot!

We should cherish our dishwashers! They do so much for us that we don’t even realize! Here are top ten reasons why a dishwasher should be your best friend:

It does the work for you! You don’t need to scrub your dishes by hand. All you need to do is load them up into your dishwasher and press a button.

It saves water. It takes less water to clean a load of dishes in the dishwasher than it does to clean them by hand.

It wastes less soap. The dishwasher uses just enough soap to get the job done. When you wash dishes by hand, you usually end up using too much soap because you’re afraid that you haven’t used enough to get them clean.

Dishwashers use less energy than washing dishes by hand, especially if you own an energy-efficient model!

The dishwasher is a great friend. But, why does it deserve such a title? Below are the top 10 reasons why you should consider a dishwasher your best friend.

It saves time. A typical family with young children can dirty up to 40 dishes per day. That is a lot of time spent washing and drying dishes – especially after preparing dinner and sitting down for family mealtime in the evening. By using a dishwasher, you can spend less time doing dishes and more time enjoying each other’s company around the dinner table.

It’s more sanitary. Washing by hand doesn’t guarantee cleaner results than using the dishwasher. In fact, the opposite could be true because some people don’t wash their hands before washing dishes. The hot water used in most dishwashers (at least 130 degrees Fahrenheit/54 degrees Celsius) helps kill bacteria found on plates

It saves you money. The cost of running a dishwasher is significantly lower than the amount of water and electricity that you would use to wash dishes by hand. It will save you time. It will provide clean, dry dishes even with pre-rinsing. It is better for your health. A dishwasher kills all germs with the heat of the wash cycle. It is better for the environment because it uses less water. You can put more than just dishes in it. It can be used as storage space when not being used to clean dishes. There are different setting available to run your dishwasher on depending on how dirty your dishes are. You can get a custom pan that fits specifically in your dishwasher.
