1. KitchenAid Custom Series II KUCS03FTXS Stainless Steel Dishwasher

The KitchenAid Custom Series II KUCS03FTXS Stainless Steel Dishwasher is the best dishwasher for most people. It has great cleaning capabilities, a well-designed interior, and a convenient third rack for smaller items. This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but you can still find it online. During our tests, this model was able to remove all of our stains with its ProWash Cycle. Its Normal Cycle also did a great job of removing stains, with the exception of burnt cheese. We found that the ProWash Cycle ran an average of 1 hour and 46 minutes, while the Normal Cycle averaged 1 hour and 21 minutes. The ProWash Cycle removed 100% of our stains with no prewashing required on our Normal Cycle test load (our most difficult stain test). The only stain that remained was burnt cheese; however, this is not unusual among dishwashers we tested. In addition to being excellent at stain removal, this dishwasher had stellar performance on our drying tests.
