How to Keep Your Kitchen Germs at Bay

A dishwasher is a useful way to get rid of the kinds of germs that grow on dirty plates, but it is not a substitute for good general hygiene. You can’t rely on it to kill all germs. It may not even kill all the germs on your plate and cup.
