The first step is to simply place the countertop dishwasher on your counter. If you have a faucet with a pull-out sprayer, you will need to install the adapter first and screw it into place. The adapter is included in the box with all SPT dishwashers. Once your faucet is ready, place the dishwasher on top of your counter, making sure that it’s pushed up against the backsplash. Then, attach the quick connect faucet adapter to your faucet and tighten by hand until snug.
Next, connect the inlet hose to the back of your dishwasher and connect the other end of the hose to the quick connect faucet adapter. Make sure your water supply is turned on.
Now that everything is connected and ready for use, fill up both detergent cups on the inside door panel. The prewash cup should be filled with detergent only if you’re cleaning heavily soiled dishes, such as ones with dried or baked-on food. The main wash cup should always be filled with detergent, regardless of how dirty
